Brabus Mercedes S350 BlueTec

2011 Brabus Mercedes S350 BlueTec proudly represents the world's first tuned car to meet the new EURO VI exhaust emission standards. BRABUS tuning is well-known around the world for its performance combined with durability and suitability for daily use beyond reproach and it became the first tuner who managed to successfully meet the strict limits of the EURO VI emission standard. Due to the BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit, 55 hp are added together with an increased torque of 690 Nm. Its emissions remained below the EURO VI limits by 30 per cent when testing was required for certification. The first car tuned by BRABUS which hosted a catalytic converter was the Mercedes 190 E with AB1 tuning kit, in 1986. 1999 was the year when sizeable investments into the development of high-performance metal catalysts culminated, with the release of the BRABUS 5.8 high-capacity engine based on the Mercedes 500.294. Another milestone on the path to increasingly cleaner high-performance automobiles was set by the BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6 BLUE power kit for the Mercedes E 300 BLUETEC.
The BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S kit comes with a very special feature, meaning that the selected shift mode of the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission dictates the performance increase.
All four body styles of the Mercedes E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY can receive the BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit, providing excellent performance, fuel economy due to the increased torque which results in further improved pulling power.
