The amazing CTR 3 comes in a new 2011 edition, with a mid-engine design.
Beside the mid-engine, the new CTR 3 has a longer wheelbase, and the body is absolutely new. The car is entirely made of light metals.
The door and the front hood is made of aluminium and the body-shell is made of Kevlar-carbon composite. These help the car reach its high-speed.
CTR 3 features a twin-turbocharged 3.7 litre flat-six cylinder engine. As you may have expected, it has an impressive output, 750 HP at 7,100 rpm and its torque reaches 708 ft/lbs at 4,000 rpm.
It also has a 6-speed transmission, and the sport car is a very dynamic and safe one.
The brake discs of the car have 380 mm in diameter. The front and rear axles use 6 fixed light alloy calipers for a better performance.
The front wheels of the car are 8.5" x 19" ones, with 255/35 ZR 19" tires, and the rear ones are 12.5" x 20" with 335/30 ZR 20 tires.
The interior design features leather and Alcantara. Its fuel consumption varies from 9,9l/km in non-urban areas and 20 l/km in urban ones. 100 km/h can be reached in only 3.2 seconds, and 200 km/h in 9.6.
