The Passat model produced by Volkswagen is one of the top-rated car models in the world with over 15 milion units sold, and now the seventh generation Passat is announced to be launched, featuring a re-interpreted design with a more impressive look. The model innovates with a fatigue detection system, a city emergency braking function, thus decreasing the driver`s worries.
Passat manages to differentiate from its competitors by the material quality, with air conditioning, electric windows, with new seats, door trims and ambience lighting and a more impressive feature is the fact that it is quiet, due to insulating materials integrated in the dashboard area and doors, filtering the exterior and engine noises.
The car`s safety is improved by the six airbags, the seatbelt fastening detection for the rear seats and new head restraints for the driver and front passenger which reduce the risk of injury if dealing with a traffic accident.
The new Passat model comes with 6-speed manual gearbox and it is scheduled for launching in Germany, in November 2010 and in Europe, at the end of 2010 November.
