Two exclusive SUV concept cars are being presented for the first time at the Qatar Motor Show, two vehicles which make no compromises.
Inspired from the Touareg 3, show car number one is a genuine Rally motorsport vehicle and was built to withstand the toughest rally race in the world, reaching a sprint to 100 km/h in less than six seconds, which is legal on public roadways. Its interior was redesigned, except for the safety cage, offering easy controls, focusing on the driving machine and it appears equipped with Recaro racing bucket seats. Matt Carbon finishes the other trim elements and the roll cage in "Serpentino Grey Metallic" was tuned to this.
Touareg Gold Edition is show car number two and, as its name implies, certain areas are upgraded with 24-carat gold. It is painted in "Magic Morning" body color and comprises 22-inch alloy wheels, window frames and mirror caps. The impressive interior is enhanced by a dashboard trimmed in a natural brown leather, proving an automative craftsmanship at the highest level, especially with the Walnut Burr accents featuring original gold marquetry.
There is no doubt why the Touareg is considered to be one of the most sophisticated SUVs in the world.
