Aston Martin Vantage V8 facelift

British carmaker, Aston Martin revealed a facelifted version of the Vantage V8. Some of the improvements you will see on this model were already seen on the Vantage S. The previous model was sending the power to the wheels through a standard 6-speed manual transmission and the optional six-speed Sportshift automated manual transmission. The first one remains, but the second one was replaced with the 7-speed Sportshift II. The 2012 Vantage features a lot of styling changes borrowed from the Vantage S and N400 limited edition. Here are included: a new lower front bumper piece, a rear diffuser and also different sculpted side sills. The model is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine capable of producing 420 BHP, just like before. The price starts at GBP84.995 in the UK and EUR108.500 in Germany. Aston Martin will continue the production of the V8 engine with bespoke sports exhaust system and also with a carbon fiber aero package and the production of the V12 model that is capable of delivering 510 BHP.
