German carmaker Audi developed the A6 equipped with a 3.0-liter BiTD engine available in either Avant or sedan trims. The model is capable of incredible power and has improved handling, but this did not stop the German aftermarket specialists from MTM to create a tuning program for the new car to be able of even more power. The engineers started with the engine bay. Here they tried to upgrade the software unit of the V6 and succeeded, as the engine is now capable of developing 376 horsepower and 780 Nm of torque, up from 309 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.
The ECU optimization has a starting price of EUR 1.800. The German specialists from MTM also offer another variant of the Audi A6, capable of less power. Its engine produces only 360 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. The price for this option was established at EUR 1.700, so just EUR 100 less. In order to improve the stopping power of the diesel powering the A6, the MTM engineers have developed two different brake sets. The first options features 380 x 34 mm discs, eight-piston calipers and stainless-steel-flex-line and the price was established at EUR 4.900. The second set comes with up rated 405 x 36 mm discs that cost EUR 6.400.
The specialists did not stop here. They also offered the F-Cantronic ECU for the air suspension, priced at EUR 1.740. This new feature allows the driver to drop the height of the ride by up to 25 mm at the front axle and 20 mm at the rear one. The German specialists finished their job with a variety of alloy wheel designs measuring from 18 to 20-inches. Their price starts from EUR 1.730 and goes up to EUR 5.230.
