Audi A8 Hybrid production version

The new Audi A8 will start being produced in 2012. It will feature a gasoline engine (a 2.0 TFSI) witch will work in harmony with an electric motor.
The 2.0 TFSI has the power of 155 kW (211 hp) and 350 Nm (258.15 lb-ft) of torque and a disc-shaped electronic motor that generates 40 kW (54 hp) and 210 Nm (154.89 lb-ft).
Audi A8 will come with three ways of running. The EV mode, which uses only the electric power, can make the car run three kilometers at a constant 60 km/h. The D mode gives the driver the power of both the engine and the electric motor. The third option is mode S, witch gives the owner the option to only drive in hybrid mode.
The Audi A8 goes up to 100 km/h in only 7.7 seconds and can reach the speed of 235 km/h.
If the performances of this car did not fully convince you, maybe the visual aspects of it will. Audi A8 comes with a metallic paint finish. It`s ten spokes remind the viewers of turbine blades and you can choose between wheels of 18 and 19 inches.
Finally, it will be one of the lightest sedans, with a weight of only 231 kilograms (509.27 lb).
