BMW 1M Coupe by G-Power

The German carmaker BMW developed the 1-Series Coupe which seems to be quite comfortable with the new generation of the 1-Series. The BMW 1M Coupe model received a tuning package from aftermarket specialists from G-Power. To refresh it the engineers turned their attention towards the technical side of the car. Unfortunately for the G-Power specialists they could not use their well-known supercharged engine as the 1M Coupe is not powered by a naturally-aspirated unit. But still they offered some modifications for the 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight six. The engine was fitted with a titanium exhaust which is actually 20 kg lighter in comparison with the stock one.

This is not all. G-Power engineers also offered an ECU remap. After the modifications, the new BMW 1M Coupe was capable of developing 435 horsepower and 590 Nm of torque, up from 335 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. This new output enabled the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 186 mph, which means 300 km/h. To handle the extra power, the tuning engineers provided a stronger set of brakes that feature six-piston grabbers and 396 mm rotors up front. They also offered an adjustable RS coil-over suspension. The model sends the power to the road through 20-inch Silverstone wheels covered in Michelin tires. G-Power specialists also offer as an option, carbon-ceramics, for the ones with different tastes or ideas. These are all the detail available on the new Bavarian BMW 1M Coupe model, but stay tuned for more.
