BMW M135i

German carmaker BMW developed the three-door hatchback plus a new flagship model, the M135i. Actually this is not the first time we see it, but last March it was revealed in pre-production trim at the Motor Show in Geneva. According to the carmaker, this model offers more rear legroom and also a 30-liter larger luggage compartment. In terms of power, BMW offers the new 114i 1.6-liter turbo 4-cylinder capable of developing 101 horsepower, the 1.6-liter turbo inline-four 116i capable of developing 134 horsepower and the 125i 2.0-liter turbocharged four with 215 horsepower. There is also another one, the new M135i powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six capable of developing 315 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. All the output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. All the power is being transferred to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission in case of the M135i and the time decreases in case of the unit equipped with the optional 8-speed automatic transmission. Both models are capable of reaching a top speed of 250 km/h. The most fuel-efficient model of the range is the 116d EfficientDynamics Edition powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-clinder diesel capable of developing 114 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. All the power is being transferred to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 195 km/h. The carmaker also offers an optional 8-speed automatic transmission. Soon, BMW will offer the xDrive 4-wheel drive technology.
