BMW M3 MH3 V8 R Biturbo by Manhart

Especially for the 2012 Essen Motor Show, Manhart specialists have decided to show off their talent. How did they do it exactly? Apparently, they have decided to transform a BMW M3 Cabrio into a Manhart MH3 V8 R Biturbo convertible powered by an BMW X6 M engine. The 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo is now capable of developing 655 BHP and 975 Nm of torque. The specialists have also decided to remove the Vmax shackles and now, the Manhart MH3 V8 R Biturbo can accelerate reaching a top speed of 320 km/h. To reduce the exhaust fumes, Manhart engineers have installed their own in-house designed stainless steel downpipes. To top it, the entire model also got an Akrapovic Evolution Titanium exhaust system that includes four 90 mm tail pipes and a 200 cpsi sport catalytic converter system.

To handle the extra power and to provide suitable deceleration, the Manhart MH3 V8 R Biturbo had received a robust MHR braking system with four-piston caliper brake pads and 396 mm brake discs on the front axle and 374 mm brake discs on the rear axle. To transfer the output to the wheels, the engineers have fitted the new model with a 6-speed sports automatic transmission borrowed from the X6 M that comes with a differential lock optimal traction.

For the exterior, the model got a lot of carbon fiber elements, an engine bonnet with GTR air intakes, BMW performance carbon flaps and MHR decorative strips. The tuners have installed extra-light MHR Concave One Ultra-light forged wheels measuring 9 x 20 inch and 12 x 20 inch wheels that fit perfectly with the high performance tires that measure 255 / 30 ZR 30 on the front axle and 305 / 25 ZR 20 on the rear one. The new car also comes with an MHR suspension system that can be adjusted. We will all have the opportunity to see the new model on the 9th of December of this year.
