As a lot of carmakers did, Chevrolet is also presenting a new model in Las Vegas at the SEMA Show. To be more precise, we are talking about the Chevrolet Sonic Dusk sedan, a model developed by General Motors which will reach dealerships in 2014. According to the specialists, the new Chevy Sonic Dusk sedan will only be found in an Ashen Grey finish. The wheels it will get will be very similar to the ones used by the Chevrolet Camaro Dusk, in terms of design at least, a model presented for the first time in 2009, also at the SEMA Show. To send the output to the road, the model uses 18-inch aluminum wheels. The upper and lower grille, door handle inserts and rear license plate trim are finished with a matte appearance. For the interior, the model has black leather seats with tan inserts and suede accents and MyLink infotainment system offered as standard. This includes a smart-phone and stored media through Bluetooth, plug-in outlet or USB with the radio.
Under the hood, the model hides the Ecotec 1.4-liter turbocharged engine capable of producing 138 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. All the output is being sent to the wheels through a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. In terms of safety, know that the Chevrolet Sonic Dusk sedan comes equipped with 10 standard air bags and has more interior space for the occupants.
The company was founded in 1911 in Detroit and managed to become the largest car brand in the world offering car in more than 140 countries, selling more than 4 million cars and trucks a year. All their models have a special design built from high quality materials. These are both fuel efficient and capable of great performance. Unfortunately there is no info on the price, but for sure the new Sonic Dusk sedan will cost more than the current Sonic LTZ priced at $18.640.
