Chevrolet Spin MPV

American carmaker Chevrolet managed to launch an MPV version of the Cobalt sedan named the Spin. The specialists developed it for the South American market and the Asian ones also. The Spin will be available before the end of this month. The new compact MPV had as designers the General Motor Brazil, actually the same team that worked on the Cobalt. The production process takes place in Brazil, in Sao Paolo to be more precise. The carmaker does not hope to sell the Chevrolet Spin thanks to its looks and this is why, in the gallery below you can find only picture which have as main focus the interior of the vehicle.

The model is capable of seating seven people at once, but it can also be converted in a 1.668 ?liter of luggage space. The base model is the Spin LT with only five seats that features powered windows, powered door locks, two airbags, ABS, adjustable seats, air conditioning and a height adjustable steering wheel. Now, there is a different story with the LTZ, which has a third row of seats, a trip computer and also parking sensors. Both versions feature the same 1.8-liter engine capable of developing 108 horsepower on ethanol and 106 horsepower on gasoline. All the output is then being sent to the wheels through either a standard five speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic one. These are all the details presented by the carmaker so far.
