French carmaker Citroen wants to implement a new strategy for international growth referring mainly to the C segment using two new models, the Citroen C-Elysee and the Citroen C4. The carmaker launches the DS line in China this year, on the 28th of June. Both will be launched only in selected international markets. Both feature incredible style, modern technology, innovation and high quality. Now, to be more precise, the C-Elysee has robust styling, innovative design that offers roomy interior that is ideal for families. This model is actually a rebadged version of the 301 sedan. To be more precise, this is the model Peugeot announced it will prepare for the developing markets. Under the hood it hides an engine capable of developing 72 horsepower. The rear compartment offers 506-liters VDA thanks to a 2.65m wheelbase, the longest in its category. The new model also features air conditioning with digital readout, MP3 audio system and a lot of other equipments that make the ride comfortable.
The carmaker will offer it with the latest generation VT0 72 petrol engine, depending on the market. This engine will provide incredible technology that combines performance with fuel economy and durability and as mentioned above, it will be have 72 horsepower as output. The Citroen C-Elysee represents a long-term investment as it offers reliability on the most demanding roads. It will be built in Spain and before the end of this year it will be launched in Turkey, Spain, Central Europe and Algeria. The French carmaker managed to do a very good job with the new Citroen C-Elysee and soon we will have the opportunity to see it on the roads.
