Daihatsu Copen Roadster 10th Anniversary Edition

Soon the Copen Roadster, one of the smallest convertible models on the market, will be a thing of the past as Daihatsu decided to stop its production. The carmaker has developed an anniversary model, the Copen 10th Anniversary Edition. The model will be sold in Japan as a limited edition car. It will not be powered by a 1.3-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine capable of developing 86 horsepower like any other export Copens, but by a 63 horsepower 660 cc turbocharged engine to fit the Japanese regulations. The power will be sent to the wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and through a 4-speed automatic one. The price will be $22.100 for the automatic one. The manual transmission model will be a little more expensive.
