Dodge Durango Police and Fire & Rescue

Chrysler has done a very good job with the Dodge Durango. The engineers managed to tune it and so it became a special service vehicle. The police and the fire & rescue departments can use it now if they need an SUV. It will be a little hard for the carmaker as it has as rivals models developed by Ford and GM, but they are hoping the exterior design will have something to say in all this. The carmaker is offering two options when it comes to the engine: a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that is capable of developing 290 horsepower or a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 capable of producing 360 horsepower. It is available as a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. With all this amount of power, Chrysler also offered improved brakes and bigger water pump together with a lot of other equipment elements.
