Ferrari F12 berlinetta

Ferrari developed a new model, the fastest most powerful production Ferrari ever built, the F12berlinetta. Under the hood it hides a 6.3-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine that is capable of delivering 730 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. All the output is being sent to the wheels through an F1 dual-clutch transmission. This enables the F12berlinetta to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and to 200 km/h in 8.5 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 340 km/h. Even though it produces this amount of power, the carmaker claims a fuel reduction of 30% and it seems that the CO2 emissions also are being decreased. Ferrari specialists had to repackage the rear suspension and gearbox to decrease the rear volume of the car. The cabin was optimized for maximum usability of the interior space and now, behind the seats there is room for the luggage. The model will be revealed next week in Geneva at the Auto Show and it will go on sale at the end of this year or at the beginning of 2013.
