Apparently, Italian carmaker Ferrari will present its new achievement, the F12berlinetta for the North American customers at the Pebble Beach Concours dElegance that takes place this week. To be more precise, the supercar will have its first official appearance at the First Tee of the Pebble Beach Golf Links on the 19th of the month. The model receives power from a V12 engine. This year, in March, at the Geneva Motor Show, we had the opportunity to see for the first time the Ferrari F12berlinetta, but this time, the 2-seat version. Marco Mattiacci, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ferrari North America, believes the Pebble Beach Concours dElegance is the perfect event to reveal for the first time for the North American market the new Ferrari F12berlinetta.
Both its exterior appearance and the power it is capable of producing are the main features, the model has for impressing all the ones present at the well-known event. Under the hood, the models hides a 6.2-liter V12 engine, like we said before, capable of developing 730 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque, which means 740 PS and 509 lb. ft. of torque. This incredible output of the supercar enables the model to accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 340 km/h or 211 mph or even more.
The coupe uses the all-new space-frame chassis and utilizes 12 different kinds of alloy wheels on its body shell. This actually offers a 20 % increase in structural rigidity. The weight is also reduced to 1.525 by 70kg, in comparison with the 599 GTB Fiorano, the previous V12 coupe version of the Italian carmaker Ferrari.
