The Italian carmaker Fiat has revealed the pricing list for the all-new Fiat 500L small minivan and together with it, also confirmed the specification details. All these information are available for the UK market where it will soon be available for purchase. The carmaker has established a starting price of GBP14.990 OTR for the base version. This is a model powered by a 1.4-liter petrol Pop Star. The top of the range comes with the 1.6-liter diesel Lounge variant which has a starting price established at GBP18.890. This new member of the 500 family is actually a bit longer than a Fiat Punto supermini, but it is as wider as a Bravo compact hatchback. It is capable of providing more interior space than either model.
So that you know, at launch, the carmaker offers the Fiat 500L with a choice of four engines that are all fitted as standard with Start & Stop system. The options mentioned above include a TwinAir 0.9-liter petrol capable of generating 105 PS and a 1.4-liter 16-valve petrol capable of producing 95 PS. Moving on we have a 1.3-liter 16-valve MultiJet diesel that provides 85 PS equipped with manual or MTA transmission. Last, but not list, the new Fiat 500L comes with a 1.6-liter 16-valve MultiJet diesel that will have 105 PS as output.
In terms of technology, know that all 500L models will be available with a 5-inch touch-screen radio, six airbags, Bluetooth, ESP stability programme, cruise control and body-colored electric door mirrors. The list continues with leather steering wheel and gear knob offered as standard. The Italian also provided a body-colored dashboard, alloy wheels and side door moldings. In the Easy grade the model gets rear parking sensors, electric rear windows and a soft-touch dashboard. The Lounge model gets climate control air conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels to send the output to the road, rear parking sensors, electric rear windows, a fixed glass roof, light sensor, rain sensor, a rear armrest and a lot more.
