Carmaker Fiat offered improved standard equipment for the base version of the UK range, but also a price and two new model names of the 500 Abarth. To be more precise, we are talking about the new Fiat Abarth 595 Turismo and the 595 Competizione. The two are available as coupes and convertible body styles. Under the hood they hide a 1.4-liter T-Jet petrol engine borrowed from the 500 Essesse capable of developing 160 horsepower. The Fiat Abarth 595 Turismo has a starting price of GBP17.725 and it is available with a lot of different elements like interior package with leather seats and sport pedals, Xenon headlamps and automatic climate control.
All the power is being sent the road through 17-inch wheels. The other model, the 595 Competizione has approximately the same upgrades, but the Sabelt sport seats and a Monza sports exhaust extra. The starting price for this model was established at GBP18.725. The new features added by the carmaker will attract the current enthusiasts, but also new drivers. This is what Ivan Gibson, head of Abarth in the UK said. The base model if the 500 Abarth series is the model equipped with an engine capable of developing 140 horsepower and equipped with extra standard equipment.
The price is GBP500 lower and so, in the end it was established at GBP13.975 for the 2013 MY. Fiat also offers as an option a manual semi-automatic transmission developed by the Manual Transmission Automated belonging to Abarth for all three versions. These are the options available offered by Fiat.
