Italian carmaker Fiat does not take a brake. Now, the specialists have developed and revealed the Doblo Cargo XL van for the UK market. This model actually is the follower of the Doblo Work Up launched in 2011. The XL has as base the long wheelbase version, but it features a higher roof. This offers a load volume of 5.3 m3 and a payload of 1.000. To make a better idea of what it represents, the automaker said that the Doblo XL van sits somewhere between the Purpose Built Van and Small Panel Van segments. This is actually what the engineers hope to bring them higher sales. If you really think about it, it totally makes sense. The model offers the same load capacity, but for less money.In terms of power plant, customers have three choices of Euro 5 turbo-diesel engines.
One of them is the 1.6-liter MultiJet capable of developing 105 horsepower, the 1.6-liter MultiJet capable of generating 90 horsepower and last, but not least we have the 2.0-liter MultiJet with 135 horsepower as output. The new tall Fiat Doblo Cargo XL Van can be ordered now. The British people interested in purchasing it will have to dig a little in their pockets, because the carmaker established a starting price of GBP 15.765. This is actually the basic price for the Doblo XL Cargo Base powered by the 1.6-liter MultiJet 16-valve Diesel that has as output 105 horsepower. When it comes to the Doblo XL Combi SX powered by the M12.0 Multi Jet 16-valve diesel, the price goes up a little reaching GBP 19.045 for the start. For the ones that did not hear it yet, Chrysler confirmed the information according to which the Doblo series will be available for purchase starting 2013, on the North American and Canadian markets, but under the Ram name plant.
