Carmaker Fiat revealed a new model, an all-wheel-drive version of the Fiat Freemont MPV a wagon that offers sitting place for seven people. The model uses the AWD system and also there are two engine choices. First there is the 2.0-liter MultiJet 2 that is capable of delivering 70 horsepower and there is the 3.6-liter V6 petrol that can develop 280 horsepower. The output from both engines is being sent to the wheels through either a six-speed manual transmission or through an automatic one, being offered in combination. The new model will have its world debut this month on the 25th and also it will go on sale in Italy then. The Freemont is equipped with an electronic control unit that uses sensors to detect the grip of the four wheels and decides when to send traction to the rear.
