American carmaker Ford will launch the Focus MkII this summer, at the beginning of August to be more precise. It will shift from German imports to Thailand. The European customers had the opportunity to buy it since the spring of 2011. Now, time has come for the Australian one to have this chance. The model will feature the SYNC system and a lot of different advanced systems developed by Ford.
The carmaker offers as standard the rear-view camera for the Sport and Titanium models, but also the Active City Stop collision-avoidance. Thanks to advancements like grille shutters that help reduce the drag coefficient of the car when it has high speed, the car is also going to be more efficient. The full price list of the Focus MkII includes the Ambiente, Trend, Sport and Titanium models. The Ambiente powered by a 1.6-liter 5-speed manual hatch has a starting price of $21.990, the 1.6-liter 6-speed automatic hatch $24.290 and last, but not least we have the 1.6-liter 6-speed automatic sedan priced at $24.290.
