American from Ford Performance Vehicles offered more information on their new GT RSPEC Limited Edition Series. It seems that under the hood, the car hides an aluminum Miami BOSS V8 5.0-litter supercharged engine capable of developing 449 horsepower and 420 lb. ft. of torque. The new limited edition has a recalibrated suspension package, launch control system and also wider wheels covered in 275/35 R19 Dunlop Sports Maxx tires.
When it comes to the rear suspension, the car has re-tuned dampers, larger anti-roll bars, higher spring rates and reinforced rear lower control arms. The front suspension, on the other hand benefits from re-tuned dampers, stiffer front upper suspension strut mounts and stiffer upper control arm bushes. The quality of the ride is improved because of the stiffer transmission mounts that diminish the movement of the engine and driveline under load.
When it comes to the exterior, the specialists borrowed different elements from the 1969 Boss Mustang. It also features a bespoke accent package for the lower and upper grille surrounds, fog lamp bezels, mirror scalps, high performance spoiler with GT decal and also black painted exhaust tips. The interior elements include Shadow leather seats with the GT logo embroidery, of course and also a piano black finish for the ICC unit, tissue box and door spears. Apparently, the Ford Performance Vehicles specialists will build 350 units of the new FPV GT RSPEC Limited Edition Series and each will have an established starting price of AUD $ 76.900. This price is available only at participating FPV dealers. The models will be available in four color combinations so that buyers can choose their favorite one.
