It seems that the UK division of Hyundai will sell the Hyundai Veloster Turbo SE starting September 24th. The starting price for the new model was established at GBP21.995. The power comes from a 1.6-liter T-GDI engine equipped with a high-compression, twin-scroll turbocharger capable of developing 184 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque. All the output is being transferred to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds and to reach a top speed of 133 mph.
In terms of fuel consumption, the Hyundai Veloster Turbo SE reaches 40.9 mpg level UK on the combined cycle and the CO2 emission level was rated at 157 g/km. The output is being sent to the road through 18-inch alloy wheels that feature chrome inserts. For the interior, the carmaker provided leather seats, a 7-inch touch-screen satellite navigation system and also an updated 8-speaker sound system that of course, features subwoofers. Firmer dampers ensure improved body control. For the exterior the carmaker kept the standard unique 1+2 door layout for the car, but offered extra visual enhancements designed to give the car an even more athletic and purposeful look.
The new Hyundai Veloster Turbo SE features a longer and wider rear spoiler with integrated LED brake lights. The carmaker offers the car with three paint options: White Crystal, Phantom Black and a Matt Grey. The Black Phantom and Matt Grey cost GBP445 and GBP525 respectively. The ones interested in a slide panoramic sunroof, should know the model has one available for another GBP950. The model is covered by the fully transferable 5 Year Triple Care assurance package which includes a five year unlimited mileage warranty, five year vehicle health checks and also five years free roadside assistance. These are all the information available on the matter so far.
