It seems that British manufacturer Jaguar wanted to take thing up to the next level and this is why they have decided to create the Concept Speedboat to accompany the fresh new Jaguar XF Sportbrake. Their main focuses were the clients of course and after a short study they found out that a lot of their clients simply enjoy different and active activities. Now, thanks to the introduction of the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake specialists saw it as a challenge. Their imagination was also tested and in the end they came up with the Concept Speedboat that underlines the design philosophy of a new product. At a firs look we can see that it is similar to a traditional speedboat, but it has sleek and fast characteristics that are actually something to expect from a Jaguar car.
The new boat is made of a fiberglass hull finished with a teak deck and it also has a prominent carbon fiber finish that makes us remember the D-Type. Even if it looks great, the carmaker said it has no plans what so ever to build or sell this kind of boat. It has a 2+1 cabin and because of the fuel filler caps borrowed from the Series 1 XJ, it is easy to recognize. Its main specifications indicate a length over all of 6.1 meters, length water line of 5.3 meters, beam 2.0 meters, draft measuring 0.4 meters. The dead rise is 21 degrees and can fit 2+1 passengers as mentioned above.
The Jaguar XF Sportbrake combines a muscular yet elegant design with dynamic ability, interior luxury and load space capacity of 1.675 liters. The model is equipped with a 2.2-liter engine and with the Intelligent Stop-Start system. The new model will be available for sale everywhere in the UK and Europe starting next month.
