It was a little unexpected from their part, but it seems that Kia specialists have decided to surprise all of us by revealing their all-new Kia Carens MPV. Even though the model is scheduled to show its face in an official way at the Auto Show that will take place in Paris later this month, in the gallery below you will have the opportunity to see some images with the model ahead of its official debut. The previews model was sold every where in the world under different names. For example, on the North American market and on the Canadian one, you could find it under Rondo. Two years ago, the production stopped. Now a replacement was developed, a model with a modern and fresh design.
Unfortunately, the carmaker did not want to reveal any details on the new Kia Carens Compact MPV, but instead they are waiting for the day of its official debut, that is actually quite close. What we do now, though, is that the new model has as base a modified version of the platform used on the minivan variant of the Ceed hatchback and not only looks like it. There is the possibility it will also share the same engine lineup. Off course, these are just suppositions, but who knows? Chances are higher at least for the European customers. In terms of interior Asian carmaker offers a unique styling for the dashboard. There is the possibility the specialists will offer the new Carens Compact MPV in five and seven seat versions. This new variant is better for families and it is more functional in comparison with its predecessor.
The model represents a step forward for the carmaker and brings the model in line with the distinctive current design direction Kia is looking for. Apparently, the new Kia Carens Compact MPV will be available for purchasing on the European market starting the first quarter of next year. The showrooms will manage to attract a new group of consumers as well.
