Kia Rio Turbo

This year at the Geneva Motor Show the need of a new, better Rio was revealed. Their plans are to produce models with turbo engines in the future, but now, or at least in the next 12 months they are building cars powered by turbocharged engines. First of all, the carmaker will have to build a pro-ceed?d hatch/coupe first and it might be powered by the same 1.6-liter T-GDi engine just like the Veloster Tubo. The power it will be capable of developing is really hard to estimate. The model mentioned above is able to produce a little more than 180 horsepower and the Rio need at least this amount of power to be sportier than the Volkswagen Polo GTI. Now, the Rio features a 1.1-liter 3-cylinder turbo-diesel, but it is also available with a 1.25-liter and a 1.4-liter petrol engine, but it seems that it is never enough for the carmaker enthusiasts.
