Japanese carmaker Lexus is offering a new model with special equipment for their British customers. To be more precise, we are talking about a new version of the Lexus CT 200h. The engineers have offered different trim levels, of course, priced differently. For example, the Advanced trim model is GBP500 more expensive than the SE trim model. The carmaker established a starting price of GBP24.495. In the Advanced trim, the specialists offer cruise control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, folding electrically-adjustable door mirrors and rain sensing wipers. The rearview mirror features integrated parking monitor. The list of new elements continues with reversing camera and a new satellite navigation system. The new Lexus CT 200h Advanced has a metallic finish.
It receives power from a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder VVT-I gasoline engine, but also from a magnet synchronous electric motor that combined produce 134 horsepower or 100 kW. In terms of fuel consumption know that the hybrid power plant uses 68.9 mpg and the CO2 emission level reaches 94 g/km. to transfer the power produced to the wheels, the engineers have provided 17-inch alloy wheels. Other specifications of the 2012 Lexus CT 200h Advanced include fog lights, privacy glass, Bluetooth, push button start, a 6-speaker sound system with USB port, dual-zone climate control and a lot more.
On the inside, the specialists offer Tahara in the Advanced trim, a strong new upholstery that is actually an attractive alternative to leather. This is lighter than real leather and it generates 65% less CO2, so the environment is happier. The carmaker offers three on-demand modes: EV, Eco and Sport. It is not much, but in EV model the driver can ride with zero CO2 emissions and minimal noise for 1.2 miles. If you want smaller wheels, the engineers also offer 16-inch ones as optional, and will not cost you extra.
