Supercar specialists from McLaren decide to present for the first time their new MP4-12C at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The race car will feature a unique color which is supposed to highlight the support of the McLaren Group for the GREAT campaign launched this year by the Office of the Prime Minister and by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport. This campaign is meant to re-affirm the international reputation of the UK and offer long-term economic benefits through education and trade. In 2010, McLaren revealed the 12C and back in 2011, the carmaker revealed for the first time at the great event the 12C GT3. Now, for the third year in succession, the automaker will present an even better version of the sports car. Thanks to additional throttle and gearshift modifications developed to enhance the driving experience, the engine capable of producing 625 PS, an increase from 600 PS. In terms of styling, the carmaker offers exclusive new interior trim with leather and Alcantara, a striking Volcano Yellow paint finish and also a new Diamond Cut finish available for multiple wheel designs. To be more precise, the model presented will have an incredible Volcano Red exterior color offered by the graphic design team of McLaren Racing.
The enthusiasts will have the opportunity to see the improved version of the 12C GT3 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The carmaker is a leading developer and manufacturer in terms of sports cars and enjoys a lot of global success.
