The 2012 mercedes C63 AMG appears more attractive than ever with its modified design and numerous enhancements to its technology which result in driving pleasure with a significantly reduced fuel consumption, which is reduced by about ten percent to 12.0 l/100 km due to the introduction of the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission with the "Controlled Efficiency" mode as standard. Its new radiator grille featuring a large Mercedes star, a new AMG front apron, special AMG daytime running lights make the C 63 AMG more attractive and athletic than ever. Its innovative transmission allows the delivery of a much more agile, efficient and direct response, impressing at the same time with an exceptional flexibility as it comprises four driving modes together with a double declutching and RACE START functions. The optional AMG Performance package delivers more dynamic performance, allowing a 0-100 km/h acceleration sprint of 4.4 seconds.
The interior highlights a considerable progress with a completely new dashboard design, integrating a screen, a new three-spoke AMG performance steering wheel, which is trimmed in nappa leather, while the aluminium shift paddles allow manual gear selection.
A new telematics generation described the C-Class and includes a number of advantageous features, such as greater operating convenience, USB interface in the centre console as well as larger displays. Customers all over the world appreciated the unique combination between power and torque, thus making the C 63 AMG a real best-seller in the AMG model range.
Its market launch starts in July 2011 and the new C 63 AMG is available as an Estate and as a Saloon.
