Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake

German carmaker Mercedes-Benz decided to reveal the price list for the new CLS Shooting Brake model for its British customers. The dealers will start taking orders starting next month and deliveries will begin in November. The station wagon version of the new Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake available for the UK will be equipped with three different engine variants. The first option is the 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, then there is the 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and last, but not least, the petrol CLS 63 AMG. The first one has a starting price of GBP 49.360 OTR which goes up to GBP 83.030 for the AMG version. These prices actually represent a GBP1.785 and GBP 1.150 premium over the same editions of the CLS sedan.


The new Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake equipped with the 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY is powered by a 2.1-liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel capable of developing 201 horsepower. The fuel consumption reaches 53.3 mpg on a combined cycle and the CO2 emission level is 139 g/km. The Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake model equipped with 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY is powered by a V6 turbo diesel that delivers 261 horsepower and has a fuel consumption of 47.1 mpg on a combined cycle and 161 g/km CO2 emission level.


The model equipped with the CLS 63 AMG is powered by a 5.5-liter Bi-Turbo V8 engine capable of developing 518 horsepower, with a fuel consumption of 28 mpg and 235 g/km CO2 emission level. No matter which model we are talking about, all will be available with the COMAND Online multimedia system, leather upholstery, metallic paint, Bo-Xenon headlights and Parktronic front and rear. The output will be transferred to the wheels through 18-inch alloy wheels.The models will also have a rear air suspension and the Easy-Pack Quickfold rear seat adjustment and compartment cover systems.
