Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake by Brabus

German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has developed the CLS Shooting Brake and now, aftermarket specialists from BRABUS have decided to offer a tuning package to improve it. The program includes performance upgrades, but also styling changes. For example, the new model now features a new front spoiler, front fascia attachments with LED DRLs, fenders and also side skirts. The list of options the Germans offer continues with a new front spoiler lip. For example the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG is available with an additional front spoiler, but also with fender attachment. To transfer the output to the road, the engineers have offered BRABUS Monoblock wheels measuring from 8.5J x 17 to 10.5J x 20 which are actually available in six different designs. The suspensions were modified and were developed in collaboration with Bilstein. These were specifically calibrated to lower the car by around 35 mm and to use with low-profile tires.

In terms of performance know that the new model is equipped with the ECO PowerXtra D4 performance kit that increases the output of the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY by 31 horsepower and in the end it obtains 560 Nm of torque. Moving to the CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, this can be equipped with the ECO PowerXtra D6S package that is capable of generating 313 horsepower in sport mode. This enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 5.9 seconds. The CLS 500 BlueEFFICIENCY will also feature a tuning kit that will enable it to develop 500 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. The car can reach a top speed of 186 mph thanks to the BRABUS Vmax unit. In the end we have the CLS 63 AMG which is capable of producing 619 horsepower and 737 Nm of torque. To be more precise, this output enables the car to reach a top speed of 200 mph and to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds. BRABUS offers a clutch-type limited slip differential with a locking rate of 40% which optimizes traction and handling in fast corners on all CLS versions. The exclusive interior design leaves nothing to be desired.
