Mercedes SL 65 AMG 45th

Recently, German carmaker Mercedes-Benz revealed a new promo for the 45th Anniversary Edition, the SL65 AMG. We first heard about the model around a year ago when the carmaker said it represents the 45 year collaboration between AMG and Mercedes. It seems that the model will be built as a Limited Edition and only 45 units will please fans and enthusiasts.

The new Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG features an exclusive designo magno graphite paint, but also carbon fiber trim on the mirrors and spoilers. The carmaker did not stop here. The engine that powers the new model features a carbon fiber / aluminum engine cover and wheels with a titanium grey finish provided by AMG and sports exhaust system. For the interior, the German specialists offer specially made upholstered leather seats, alloy pedals and also matte carbon fiber trim. On the center console every model features an individual plaque number. The engineers also provided Aircraft seats, a Bang & Olufsen audio system and a COMAND Online infotainmnet system. Under the hood it hides a 6.0-liter V12 engine capable of developing 621 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque.

All this output is then being transferred to the wheels through an AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic transmission which enables the car to higher performance. To be more precise, the new Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds and can reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The speed limitation can be removed as long as the owner pays a tiny fee. The German specialists can be proud of their new achievement. More information will be available soon.
