Mercedes-Benz C25 Super-GT by Carlsson

German tuning company, Carlsson Autotechnik GmbH was quite busy these last few months developing a special edition. To be more precise, the model in question is the Carlsson C25 Super GT, a model developed as a limited edition only for the Chinese customers. Unfortunately for the ones that did not managed to get one, all seven units built were already sold out. This model is actually a modified car, a 180 kg lighter Mercedes SL-Class with a carbon fiber body. It also has redesigned front and rear lights, rear and rear side windows, which the standard model does not. The C25 Super GT also features C-Tronic Suspension chassis with iPhone control and composite brake system. The real change comes from the engine. The original model features a 6.0-liter bi-turbo engine capable of developing 753 horsepower and an electronically limited 1.150 Nm of torque. The Limited Edition developed for China, the Carlsson C25 Super GT, features a V8 engine capable of producing only 450 horsepower. It is a little disappointing, but this is the situation. All units will be made to order and the first C25 LE serial number 1 will be sent to Shanghai by plain. The other 6 will be hand-manufactured in the next 12 months in Merzig at Gut Wiesenhof and the starting price for this Carlsson C25 Limited Edition was set for RMB4.000.000. Both the carmaker and the tuner are very excited about this new concept and believe it is just perfect for the Chinese market and its clients. They wanted to develop a highly exclusive vehicle, but that can also be used for going to the office everyday as well. The owners will be impressed with its capability of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h.
