German aftermarket specialists from Vath offered aV50S performance package for the Mercedes-Benz E500 sedan. This actually increases the power and also offers the model an aggressive look. How was all this possible? Well, the German specialists have reprogrammed the software; have added a new air cooling system and also a sport exhaust system and this is not all. The engineers also removed the electronic speed limiter. The newly improved Mercedes-Benz E500 sedan is now capable of developing 511 horsepower, up from 402 horsepower. The torque was also improved, the model being capable of producing 810 Nm up from 600 Nm. This new output enables the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 300 km/h. To handle the extra power, Vath specialists have also offered a high-performance brake system that features 390 mm discs and 6-piston calipers.
The air suspension received an electronic module with extra settings. All the output is being transferred to the wheels through new 20-inch 3-piece forged alloy wheels covered in 245/30 r20 tires on the front axle and 285/25 r20 on the rear one. In terms of styling, the new Mercedes-Benz E500 sedan received a new front lip spoiler, a boot lid spoiler and also a rear diffuser. All these are made of carbon fiber. The model also features a blacked out front grille. So that everything is complete, the tuning company, Vath includes in the package a sport steering wheel covered in leather as standard, but also available with carbon or wood trims. Its new speedometer is capable of reaching 360 km/h.
The ones interested in purchasing the new V50S package offered by Vath should know that it has a starting price of EUR 32.250. This sum does not include the VAT.
