Ready to step onto the podium thanks to even more sportiness: The MINI Cooper Coupe by AC Schnitzer

A really sporting example recently celebrated its premiere: the standard model of the MINI Cooper Coupe. But the MINI tuning experts at AC Schnitzer are working "Beyond the standard", as demonstrated by some impressive tuning highlights for the agile two-seater.

Performance Upgrades
Engine tuning and performance upgrades have a long tradition at AC Schnitzer. To be on the safe side however, we prefer not to extract the maximum possible power but instead ensure greater robustness, which means a longer life of the engine. Many of our diesel performance upgrades are therefore designed for an increase in torque rather than an increase in horsepower. Because torque is what you feel when for example you're "pressed back in the seat" on pulling away.

Warranty
For engines and performance upgrades, we offer a warranty of two years from the date of first registration, up to a kilometre reading of 100,000 km on all components excluded from the BMW warranty.

Performance upgrades for the MINI Cooper SD Coupe and S Coupe are currently in development and planning respectively. Balanced handling on the exit from tight corners is already guaranteed by the AC Schnitzer limited slip differential for the MINI Cooper S Coup? with locking up to 75%.

Exhaust
The perfect driving experience is enhanced by the acoustic qualities of the AC Schnitzer sports rear silencer of stainless steel with chromed Racing tailpipe trim for the MINI Cooper S and the John Cooper Works Coup?. The AC Schnitzer sports exhaust system optimally balances the complete exhaust system to the demands of higher power and tuned engines.

Brakes
The promises made by a sporting engine are backed up by the AC Schnitzer high performance brake system. The 4-piston fixed caliper brakes (left/right) with slotted discs (left/right), the set of brake pads, caliper holder and steel flexible brake lines, hold the thoroughbred two-seater in check

The Suspension Technology
Like every athlete, the MINI Cooper Coup? needs high performance "movement gear". In the case of the MINI Cooper Coup? by AC Schnitzer, this includes a height-adjustable racing suspension or the AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit, an aluminium strut brace and special antiroll bar for the rear axle which further reinforce the Go-kart-like driving sensation so characteristic of the MINI

The Interior
In the interior too, the MINI Cooper Coupe by AC Schnitzer is a whole length ahead of the standard model.

The standard premium comfort can be enhanced by the AC Schnitzer gear knob with digital gear display, aluminium pedal set, foot rests, "Black Line" handbrake handle and velours foot mats.

The AC Schnitzer Mi2 BiColor alloy, with its ultramodern styling combined with the highest standards in materials, production methods and driving dynamics, is available as a one-piece variant for all MINI vehicles.

Naturally the Mi2 BiColor wheel generation fits the current and the antecessor MINI vehicles. For tyres, we recommend high performance tyres from Continental and Michelin in size 225/30 R 18 or 215/35 R 18 or optionally in 205/40 R 18.
