The European customer can be happy to know that Peugeot is offering its RCZ in all countries on the continent, but also on some selected countries around the world including Australia. Now, the latest special edition model of the 2+2 coupe was developed especially for two markets only: France and Germany. Peugeot called it Onyx and built it as a limited edition model. Under the hood it has either a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four petrol capable of developing 154 horsepower or a 2.0-liter HDI turbo diesel that produces 161 horsepower.
The torque level is also higher than in the case of the gasoline one. For the exterior, the carmaker offers four body colors called Blanc Opale, Gris Sidobre, Gris Haria and Noir Perla Nera. All these come with a carbon fiber finish roof, door mirror caps, gloss front grille and the power is being sent to the road through 19-inch wheels in the case of the model finished in a Midnight Silver hue. For the interior, Peugeot provided two-tone fabric upholstery for the sport seats, the dashboard and the center console with silver stitching.
The Peugeot RCZ Onyx means more to us than looks. The engineers also offered extra features that include Comfort and Sport packages, but also a navigation system. The price of the Peugeot RCZ Onyx in France starts at EUR34.500 in the case of the diesel model and at EUR32.000 its petrol brother. Peugeot engineers did a very good job with the new Peugeot RCZ Onyx and so they can be proud of their achievement.
