Germans from Porsche offer the new 918 Spyder in left hand drive only just like the Carrera GT model, or at least this is what the carmaker declared in their last report. The new Porsche 918 Spyder will be available for a stating price established or EUR768.026. There is also another option, but this will cost you more. If the car if fitted with the Weissach package, price increases to EUR839.426.Under the hood the engineers might offer a 4.6-liter combustion engine capable of generating 580 horsepower and more than 500 Nm of torque. This engine will drive the rear wheels and will receive more help from an electric motor. If you think this is all, well there is more.
A second electric motor will empower the front wheels. Together, the two produce 245 horsepower, 116 horsepower at the front and another 129 horsepower at the back. The new Porsche 918 Spyder will also feature a 6.8 kWh lithium-ion battery package. In the end, the combined output reaches around 795 horsepower and 780 Nm of torque. To send the power to the wheels, the car uses a 7-speed PDK transmission. The model features 9.5Jx20 wheels at the front covered in 265 / 35 ZR20 tires and 12.5Jx21 alloy wheels at the back this time covered in 325 / 30 ZR21 tires.
To handle the extra power, the model features carbon ceramic brakes that measure 410 mm at the front with 6-piston calipers and 390 mm with 4-piston calipers at the back. The engineers have also provided an electric parking brake and LED DRLs and rear lights. The tuners have offered a carbon interior package, carbon fiber for the paddles, straps, new door interior panels, no carpeting in the boot and a lot more. All the extra elements mentioned above and more will cost you a lot of extra money.
