Porsche Panamera GTS

The 2012 Porsche Panamera GTS had its international debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, embodying the purest expression of a sports sedan which features an obvious attention to high performance. Boasting impressive features, such as the Porsche Active Suspension Management, a sportier chassis tuning mated to air suspension, a body which is lower by ten millimeters, upgraded brakes and more power, the new Panamera GTS found its basis on the Panamera 4S. It is highly distinguishable on the road due to the front, side and rear, as well as black highlights. The sporty personality of the vehicle is enhanced by the interior which will undoubtedly please the driver with the exclusive GTS leather with Alcantara surfaces, the SportDesign steering wheel with shift paddles and the adaptive sports seats. The standard adaptive 18-way adjustable sport seats feature Alcantara center panels. The modified 4.8-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine powers the Panamera GTS and it raises a high output of 430 HP at 6,700 rpm and a peak torque of 384 lb-ft. The engine output is transferred to the all-wheel drive system during gear changes without interruption to the power flow, through the seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe transmission incorporated in the standard Sport Chrono package. The 0-60 mph sprint is covered in only 4.3 seconds with an accelerated top track speed of 178 mph. By the simple push of a button, the drivers and passengers are able to hear the GTS engine "breathing" even more than usual as a Sound Symposer directs the intake sounds into the interior. Further reinforcing the sporty personality of the Panamera GTS, the damping was designed by engineers to be tauter, while the rear axle track width is increased by the five millimeter wheel spacers between the wheel and the wheel hubs. The standard exhaust system exits the exhaust gases of the eye-catching car model. The braking system ensured by the Panamera Turbo is given by the deceleration on the sporty Panamera, which is available to enthusiast customers with the optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, comprising brake calipers finished in yellow. Another standard feature of the Panamera GTS is represented by the Chrono Package, which provides a Sport Plus program, in addition to Normal and Sport modes. The Panamera GTS remains the purest member of the Porsche Panamera family.
