Rinspeed microMAX Concept

The talented specialists from Rinspeed have big plans for the future. They intend to revolutionize urban traffic and we will all have the opportunity to see what they have prepared, next year at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The Swiss company is already well known for their mountains, the chocolate and for their watches; time has come to move on to the next level. The engineers want to solve a problem with short-distance transport and this is why the new Rinspeed microMAX was developed. Starting March 7th through the 17th the concept will be on display at the Motor Show. The specialists want to merge personal and public transportation.

These days, modern ride share centers are web-based or Smart phone-based. The Rinspeed microMAX has unique upright seats that are actually perfect for swift short-distance transfers. The futuristic concept sets the grounds for an entirely new class of vehicles. It measures 3.6 meters in length and so it is equivalent to a BMW Mini. One of the best things about the Rinspeed microMAX is that it provides enough space for the driver, three passengers and a stroller or shopping chart. The concept also provides the desired privacy the occupants need. It measures 2.2 meters in height and so it offers the possibility to install comfortable and space-saving upright seats that come equipped with safety belts. These also provide a lot of space with homey lounge character. Included in the concept are a coffee maker, a refrigerator and unlimited connectivity for entertainment purposes. You can also work online while in the vehicle, during the travel. The manufacturer says the model is simple, comfortable and it also decreases the CO2 emission level. Because it is an all-electric vehicle, the new versatile Rinspeed microMAX reduces costs a lot.
