Rolls-Royce Ghost Special Edition

Rolls-Royce carmaker like any other carmaker is looking for increasing its profits without increasing volumes in a significant way. The British specialists have managed to develop a new special edition of their Ghost, but for a certain client in Qatar. This particular one has as base the 2013 Ghost. For more personality, the carmaker asked for the help of the women and craftsmen of the Rolls-Royce Bespoke vehicle personalization division. It is available with a two-tone exterior and its lower section is finished in English White. The hood, roof and trunk led, so the upper section, are being pointed in Ensign Red. When it comes to the interior, this particular client asked for Seashell and Consort Red leather trim with Elm Cluster veneer.

Because we are talking about a 2013 Rolls-Royce Ghost, the model receives several updates for the latest model year. To be more precise, we are taking about perforated leather headliner and also Natural Grain leather for the seats. This is rather a new feature, because before, only the ones that bought the Phantom got exquisite option. The 2013 model also received an updated night vision system that features pedestrian detection technology. Also, the new model comes equipped with a smart trunk opener. We say it is smart because it only requires a leg movement under the rear overhang to open the lid of the trunk. Under the hood it has the same 6.6-liter V12 twin-turbocharged engine capable of developing 563 horsepower and 575 lb. ft. of torque. This output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5.0 seconds and to reach an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. The carmaker will introduce the new Rolls-Royce Ghost special edition at the 2012 Paris Motor Show later this week, so stay close.
