Spanish manufacturer Seat developed the Mii and not long after, Cornwall dealership Dales Seat has created the Miinx, a striking pink Mii. This model is actually the exact opposite of the black viper Mii Vibora Negra, which was revealed earlier in July; so it is true: every action has indeed an equal and opposite reaction, like Newton would say. To be more precise, the new Seat Miinx was created as a one-off show car. The idea came to Tom Rawlings Sales Manager who decided it was time to do something special and came with the idea of Miinx.
The development process started quite fast and engineers gathered their strength and imagination. As base they used a Seat Mii Sport in Deep Black metallic. Its body work was covered in a pink gloss vinyl wrap and the lights were tinted with a translucent film. In the end they have obtained a more pronounced contrasting look. After all this, the carmaker tried to find the right name for it. First there was Miinky which lasted for quite some time. Different discussions were up and in the end everyone agreed with the Miinx. As standard this is a 3-door Mii Sport. This only means it receives power from a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine capable of generating 75 PS.
In terms of equipment, the carmaker provided air conditioning, leather steering wheel and gear knob, front fog lights, sport suspensions and dark tinted rear windows. All these are being offered as standard. To transfer the output to the road, the engineers have offered 15-inch alloy wheels also as standard. To prove it is cost effective, know that the specialists have established a starting price if GBP11.500. Dales plan to donate GBP100 to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity for every unit sold. After the model was placed outside the showroom a lot of people went and told them their opinions on the model. Each Seat Miinx sold will be equipped with the SEAT Portable System.
