The ones interest in how a $1 million electric supercar from a Croatian carmaker startup looks like, now have the opportunity to see one. The Rimac Concept_One will have its first official public display at the Salon Prive, this year in the UK. The event will take place between the 5th and the 7th of September at the Syon Park in London. Actually, the model was first displayed as a production version last year at the Motor Show that took place in Frankfurt. What makes the Rimac Concept_One so special? Well, for starters it costs as much as three Lamborghini Aventador. Then the model features an electric driveline with four sets of electric motors. They are placed at each wheel enabling the car to produce a combined output of 1.073 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1.600 Nm. With this amount of power available, the Rimac Concept_One is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 190 mph.
The battery it features produces 92 kW and it offers a driving range of around 373 miles. According to 24-year old CEO, Mate Timac said they have started everything with the goal to build a new supercar with a new propulsion concept and all they had was a blank sheet of paper. Their results speak for themselves. The specialists managed to create a model that has the power of a Bugatti, the style of a Ferrari and it is as luxurious as a German Mercedes. All these were possible without compromising the fuel consumption of the fully-developed hyper-car. The carmaker can be proud of their achievement and enjoy it.
