Tata Megapixel Concept

Tata revealed a four-seat city-smart electric vehicle concept at the Geneva motor Show this week, the Megapixel. The model has a range of up to 900 km using a 13 kW Lithium-ion Phosphate battery and also a 325 cc single-cylinder petrol range-extender engine that is capable of recharging the battery while in motion. In case it uses only the battery, the Megapixel can run for 87 km. The model is developed in India and represents an improvement from last year, from the Tata Pixel. The interesting thing about the car is that it has a unique drive system which places four electric motors, independent ones, at each wheel. The technology improvements do not stop here. The car also features an advanced human machine interface touch-screen at the center of the instrument panel for controlling temperature, performance and a lot more. This is what Tata specialists have been doing the last few months.
