Japanese specialists from Toyota have developed the Sequoia Family Dragster Concept with a lot of help received from Antron Brown. Actually this vehicle is part of the Toyota Racing Dream Build Challenge which has four cars. The specialists plan to present it for the first time at the SEMA Show that will take place in only a few days. The new Toyota Sequoia Family Dragster Concept features big 21.5-inch wide tires and apparently, the engineers have offered a specially made chassis. To reduce the weight of the car, the ones involved in the development process had to remove some of the elements that were not really necessary. In the end 1.600 lbs of weight were removed.
Under the hood, the new Sequoia Family Dragster Concept hides a 5.7-liter V8 engine that features a TRD supercharger and intercooler which produce up to 650 horsepower. The engine is also equipped with an AEM alcohol-injected modified fuel system, butterflies and Aerodine injector. If you think this is all, well you could not be more wrong. The engineers also provided an Aerodine carbon fiber rear wing, a full roll cage, carbon fiber-accented front wing, but also Carbon fiber specially made door panels, JBL sound and video system. According to the specialists this actually a family car, if we can really call a dragster that as it features Mastercraft / Impact 3G, 1G and Toddler G custom seats with Impact 6-point safety harnesses and toddler seat. The new Toyota Sequoia Family Dragster Concept will be revealed on October 30th at 11 a.m. and the ones interested will have the possibility to see the entire press conference live on the Facebook Page of Toyota. This is all for the moment on the model, but stay tuned as more information will be revealed soon during the SEMA Show next week, when the Toyota Sequoia Family Dragster Concept will be out in the open.
