The new released Volkswagen Golf VII already received a tuning package from aftermarket specialists from Oettinger, which also revealed some of the new elements they bring on the table. In terms of styling, the tuners will provide a front spoiler, a very simple styling kit, but also a rear diffuser insert and new and special side skirts. In case you are interested in the package know that the tuners have established a starting price of around EUR1.490. The new VW Golf VII will be available with the modifications starting next year, maybe in March or April.
When it comes to the power plant, the engineers from Oettinger have also developed different performance packages to please as many as possible. It seems that the new VW Golf GTI can be modified to develop between 260-360 horsepower. Also, the two 2.0-liter TDI units can also be improved by 30 horsepower or more. Next we have the 1.6-liter TDI which for EUR1.090 extra can boost it output from 90 horsepower to 110 horsepower or even from 105 horsepower to 125 horsepower. The specialists were very attentive and tried not to leave a lot behind, so the 1.4-liter TSI unit also received impressive modifications which improved its performance.
Apparently, tuning specialists from Oettinger have big plans for the future. They are working on developing different accessories for a variety of models. Some of them include sports exhaust systems, wheel arch extensions, but also adjustable suspensions. The list will continue with special alloy wheels, high performance brakes to handle the extra power, new intercoolers and limited slip differentials. Unfortunately, this is all we know so far on the matter, but for sure, the specialists will present their new achievements to the public soon.
