Volkswagen Scirocco GTS

German carmaker Volkswagen was very busy this last period of time working on a new development. To be more precise, the name of the new model is Scirocco GTS. The carmaker offers this car as an alternative to the Scirocco R for the ones that find the R quite expensive. Unfortunately, the price reduction doe not come alone. It also includes a decrease in power. The Volkswagen Scirocco GTS receives power from the same 2.0-liter TSI engine, but that offers as output only 210 horsepower / 155 kW. Money is not the only reason for the new creation, but it seems that the German automaker tried to bring back the memory of the Scirocco GT, a model that was presented approximately 30 years ago. In terms of styling, Volkswagen Scirocco GTS does not have a lot of changes, so the retro styling common to the racing cars from the ?80s and ?70s remains. At a first look, on the bonnet can be seen the traditional stripes, but also on the roof and rear, and a roof spoiler. This is not all. The new Volkswagen Scirocco GTS features redesigned front and back bumpers, new side skirts, a rear diffuser and body-color side moldings. All the output is being transferred to the road through a set of 18-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. The list of features continues with different badges and other smart styling elements. At a close look inside, the predominant black is obvious. It becomes highlighted thanks to the red stitching from the sports steering wheel, seats and from the handbrake. Unfortunately for the ones interested, the price for the new German model the Volkswagen Scirocco GTS, was not revealed yet. More information will be available soon, so stay tuned.
