Volvo carmaker was offered an upgrade program for their Volvo S60 model. The offer came from aftermarket Volvo specialists, Polestar Performance. The program includes different handling modifications, new aerodynamics an also very strong power upgrades. Under the hood, the new Polestar S60 hides a T6 engine capable of developing 508 horsepower and 575 Nm of torque with the help of a Garret 3171 turbo and also a modified intake. To be capable of all this amount of power, the Polestar Volvo S60 features a modified chassis and to make it faster, the tuners lowered the suspension by 30 mm, offered Ohlins 3-way shock absorbers, a wide track and different other modes. Of course, all power increase comes with new extra strong brakes. To be more precise, the S60 features now 6-piston calipers from Brembo on the front and also 380 mm ventilated discs. The kit also includes a new front splitter, a carbon fiber diffuser and a large rear spoiler. The interior of the Volvo S60 features Alcantara-covered trim parts and a new center console. All the power is being sent to the wheels through a reinforced M66C manual 6-speed transmission.
