The Italian brand Alfa Romeo created a compact super car which perfectly illustrates the true essence of a sports car, according to the brand's values: performance, Italian style and technical excellence aimed at maximum driving pleasure in perfect safety. This car is the Alfa Romeo 4C whose concept has been presented at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show. Although the super vehicle hasn’t been sold yet, it attracts the eyes of tuning companies in search of making or consolidating a name. One of these is Pogea Racing, the firm that took the challenge of upgrading the 4C.
The center of the tuning program developed by Pogea Racing will be an increase of engine output. This is supposed to increase the power of the Alfa Romeo 4C from 240 HP (176 kW) to an incredible 415 HP (305 kW). The fabulous figures are possible thanks to new turbochargers, an exhaust system with valve control and some improved cooling systems.
Carbon fiber sits at the base of the tuning package. The Alfa Romeo 4C receives more aerodynamic body elements. It also rides on a set of 19 or 20 inches alloy wheels. Although this is where the upgrading program stops for now, Pogea Racing plans some inside changes and sporty suspensions, too. This seems to be tuning company that has a passion for vehicles that are individual and unique.
