Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition

The Italian brand Alfa Romeo worked on a compact super car which represents the true essence of a sports car, according to the brand's values: performance, Italian style and technical excellence aimed at maximum driving pleasure in total safety. This car is the Alfa Romeo 4C whose concept has been presented at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show. The company has just revealed some photos with the 4C Launch Edition that can come in two colours, either an Alfa red paint or a Carrara White.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition will be a limited one, a number of 1,000 units being planned to come out the factory. The client will have to pay for an exemplary 60,000 EUR and above, depending on the facilities. The aerodynamic body of the vehicle is made out of door mirror covers and spoiler, bi Led headlights and a rear darkened aluminum diffuser. The 4C rides on 18 inch alloys at the front and 19 inch alloys at the back. The suspension of the vehicle has been modified and a racing exhaust system has been added. The car is also equipped with leather and Alcantara seats, a BMC air cleaner, specially coloured brake calipers. The Alfa Red variant is completed by a red stitching on the steering, handbrake, handles and seats, too.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition is powered by a four-cylinder, 1750cc engine generating 240 HP (176 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to the rear wheels through a six speed, dual clutch transmission and a limited slip differential. The vehicle flies from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in about 4.5 seconds, and can go up to a maximum speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
